Yep,  Michelle Obama is not happy that her twwo daughters images are being used in the doll making business.

First lady frowns on Sasha, Malia dolls

OAK BROOK — New dolls named “Sweet Sasha” and “Marvelous Malia” aren’t getting much love from first lady Michelle Obama.

Ty Inc., the Oak Brook-based company that makes the popular Beanie Babies, recently introduced the plush dolls as part of the “TyGirlz Collection.”

Ty Inc. spokeswoman Tania Lundeen says the dolls aren’t based on the Obama daughters. She says Sasha and Malia were chosen because “they are beautiful names.”

I find it funny that Dr. Kenneth Clark did an experiment using dolls of different ethnic groups .

The doctor found that most children would take the doll with the lighter complexion, because the darker  skinned  doll  was thought to be negative.

Now have we have 40 years later , some people desire a doll resembling an African American child. That’s funny yet neat to hear.
