Subject: Provideing maternity uniforms for female employees I am employed by a private security company who has a federal contract with ICE POLICE HOMELAND SECURITY (DOYON/AKAL JV) is the name of the security company. Recently we have had several women who are pregnant and working in company. The company has not providied maternity clothing for the women and were told that they still need to wear their shirts inside their pants with a belt on. We also have to wear a utility belt with the uniform that snaps securly arounf the waist. The union is not assisting in the effort to inforce a dress code. I want to know if there is some by law that requires the company to address this issue so that they are required to change this dress code. We are working are ex-criminals (the majority of them) who are being deported back to their countries. I feel that this look is inappropiate for them to look this way during the full term of their pregnancy.
I feel people are not giving equal opportunity as fare as First Lady’s. I have never white First Lady’s so badly treated in the news. I know that this happens also know how people are but, it hurt deep in the heart that people can be so mean. I have been to the march in Washington and also the inorgeration. I was proud when he took office. I did think I would not live to see this happenand hope for a return trip. Well Hoping to hear a reply knowing there certain thing that can not be talk about I wanted you to know how I feel. Thank You for reading.
